Candidates who have substantial accomplishments in teaching/education should construct an educational portfolio for inclusion in their Promotion and Tenure Packet. This may be developed prospectively from the time of hire to serve as a complete record of educational achievement. At the time of entering the promotion/tenure cycle, candidates who will be using teaching/educational excellence as one of their mission areas for promotion/tenure should submit the completed educational portfolio by inserting it directly into the promotion packet as item #11. Items should be completed thoughtfully and completely. Take care not to completely duplicate other items from the packet, but provide context and commentary about items that may be listed elsewhere. Note that the portfolio is limited to 12 pages. The instructions (in italics) should be deleted from the completed portfolio. The 2023-2024 template follows:
